Good stuff on Fox News today. Listen to what Glenn has to say. Very interesting! We know this bill sucks, but Congress is going to pass it. Why would Representatives who oppose the senate bill vote for it. Take a look.
Have you ever had an opinion and wanted to share it, but not know how? Well, this is pretty much my solution. You will see views on politics, religion, and anything else I want to rant about.

Obama on Fox News
Saw this, and to me it seemed as if Obama couldn't give a strait answer. Post your thoughts.
Your voice doesn't matter
Rep. Dennis Kucinich, D-Ohio, announced Wednesday that he would vote for the Senate health care bill, becoming the most prominent House Democrat to reverse his opposition. Kucinich voted against the House bill in November and has opposed the Senate bill because it doesn't include a government-run insurance plan. Kucinich has been under enormous pressure in recent weeks to lend his support to the bill, especially from Obama, who visited the Kucinich's district on Monday. Really, If you are not a Progressive, or a politician, you do not have a voice. We have been raising our concerns for many months about this bill. However if his change of mind is due to pressure from his colleagues from recent weeks. Again it shows that they do not believe we know what is good for us, yet they do. States need to get ready. We need to vote to opt out of this legislation. America, start calling your states. Tell them we dont want to be apart of this bill.

Obama's way of getting thing done
This was on Glenn Becks website. Really shows how screwed up the Government has been lately. I like what I saw in a Tea Party photo. Govt. for the people. Now Govt. Vs. the People
Tea Party Anyone?
Victory in the French and Indian War had been costly for the British. After the war's conclusion in 1763, King George the third and his government looked to taxing the American colonies as a way of raising the money for their war costs. They were also looking for ways to reestablish control over the colonies that had become more independent while the England was distracted by the war. A series of actions including the Stamp Act, the Townsend Acts, and the Boston Massacre angered the colonists, straining relations with the British. But it was the Englands attempt to tax tea that caused the colonists to act and laid the groundwork for the American Revolution.
The colonies refused to pay the taxes required by the Townsend Acts claiming they had no obligation to pay the taxes imposed by a Parliament in which they had no representation. In response, Parliament retracted the taxes with the exception of a duty on tea - a demonstration of Parliament's ability and right to tax the colonies. In May of 1773 Parliament came up with a plan. They gave the struggling East India Trading Company a monopoly on the importation of tea to the American Colonies. Additionally, Parliament reduced the duty tax the colonies would have to pay for the imported tea. The Americans would now get their tea at a cheaper price than ever before. However, if the colonies paid the duty tax on the imported tea they would be acknowledging Parliament's right to tax them. Tea was a staple of colonial life - it was assumed that the colonists would rather pay the tax than deny themselves the pleasure of a cup of tea. But they were wrong On December 16, 1773, two hundred men, some disguised as Indians, assembled on a near-by hill. Whopping war chants, the crowd marched two-by-two to the wharf, descended upon the three ships and dumped their offending cargos of tea into the harbor waters. "The Boston Tea Party, 1773," (2002).
Fast Forward 235 years later. Wall Street is Crashing, Banks are falling, The housing Market in shambles, and the Auto Industry is on the verge of failing. President Bush decides we must act now, Congress says These industries are too big to fail. So they come up with TARP. Toxic Assets Relief Plan. 700 billion dollars of Taxpayer money to help keep these companies afloat. The American people start to realize this is wrong. Then Presidential Candidate Obama, Campaigning on Hope and Change starts criticizing the President for TARP, and the Bailouts of the Auto Industry says action needs to be taken. While this is going on the Federal reserve uses its independent authority to spend 1.2 Trillion dollars on troubles assets. Obama then wins Election, and then Dumps more of the Taxpayer Money into the system with a Stimulus that has cost over one trillion dollars. Many Americans have had enough. We know after all of this spending the government will need to recoup the money that they have spent. The government no longer looks to represent the people, but control them. On April 15, 2009 the new Tea Party movement was launched it was Tax Day, We wanted to let the government know that they need to start listening, or they can pack their bags. It has been around a year, and they are still not listening. They dismiss us as racist, right-wing extremists who hate seeing a black person as President, but we realize this didn't start with Obama, Spending has been going on for a while. Obama is just the current president who will not change the current climate in Washington. We cannot stay silent any longer. As Thomas Jefferson said, "All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent."

Coffee Party?
I like the fact that people are waking up to the fact that the two party system is out of date, but to add another party called the Coffee party to rival Tea Party is a little ridiculous. It also tells me how uneducated we are getting. The Tea Party is a symbol. One that showed we will not stand for tyranny. To add the Coffee party movement to rival the new Tea Party takes that symbol away. Leave it to an Obama supporter to try and take the limelight away from a real movement. How much do you want to bet that the Progressives will try and praise this new movement as sincere and what the real Americans want. After calling the Tea Party Astroturf I would expect them to try and Hijack the Coffee Party. Yes, more recently the Republicans have Hijacked the Tea Party, and the voices have since been silenced. As a believer in the Tea Parties and one that feels we need to hold politicians accountable, Republicans need to know they are on the block too. They cannot Hijack our movement, and if they believe they can they need to be shown the door. That is why the Tea Parties have lacked steam lately, they have let the Republicans Hijack their movement, and have been blinded by that. I hope that the coffee party fails, because I see it as a fake attempt at trying to convince Americans that they are for us. Yet the first thing they say is we are hear because the Tea party is getting too much exposure. Well, sorry, but it is my belief that the tea party is not getting enough. Stations like MSNBC and CNN are trying to discredit the Tea party, while Fox is the only station really giving them a fair shake. Even Obama and the Left discredit them. Why? because the Average American really doesn't know what is good for them. At least that is what they want you to believe.

Ogden, Kansas
Back in August I was involved in bringing attention to a situation in the small town of Ogden. Two boys lost their job when last years pool manager Mona Bass says the mayor stopped by the pool.
"The mayor had come in, told me to take those boys off the schedule, Bass explained. "I, at the time, thought that meant just for that week. However, he did come back to the pool and said 'I trust you've taken those boys off the schedule.' I said, 'you don't mean fire them', and he said 'yes.'"
Bass says the boys weren't doing anything wrong, and that they were on an authorized 15 minute break.
from that point on the power of the mayor was brought into question. City council member Bob Pence had this to say, "Should he have "fired those kids" that he's denying, no he shouldn't have. He didn't directly have the authority to do that." so the townspeople went into action, and they started a petition to get the mayor out. They recieved the signatures needed, and a vote was set for March 9, 2010. Well that vote was today, and the people of Ogden have spoken. Mayor Bond will no longer be mayor. Personally I have no problem with him as a person, but I felt he was not the leader Ogden, Kansas needed. Now is not the time to celebrate, yet the time to rebuild. It is time to work together to make this town a better place for future generations. Never before have I seen this town so active and involved. Keep it up and help Ogden build a better future. Bob Pence has a difficult task ahead of him. He must restore the trust of the mayor position. Also to Jimmy Bond, I wish you well, and I ask that you will help move Ogden forward.
