Have you ever had an opinion and wanted to share it, but not know how? Well, this is pretty much my solution. You will see views on politics, religion, and anything else I want to rant about.

Tired
I learned something today. So, on facebook in your political views they have some you can choose from 2 of those you need to avoid. Very Liberal and Very Conservative. You cannot talk to them and have an open dialogue. A very liberal person will hate conservatives and a very Conservative will hate liberals. There really is no discussing things. I personally am a conservative (if you have paid any attention to my blog you would already know that). However I am willing to have a discussion with those that disagree, however through some of my friends I have found that is not the case. They are blinded. For example, they will post a link saying some media personality is inciting violence, however, that link has no evidence what so ever, however, if you look at the comments in the article are saying said media personality should die, and he needs to burn. It is a hypocritical situation. I will be thankful when November 2 is over. I am going to take a LONG break from politics. This blog will have a different focus, at least on the short term.

Obama- The most divisive President
I really wanted to go until the Election without a post. I did not want to post anything, but this caught my eye. President Obama was talking to the Latin community, and this is what he said, "But they are going to be paying attention to this election and if Latinos sit out the election instead of saying we're going to punish our enemies and we're going to reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us, if they don't see that kind of upsurge in voting in this election, then I think it's going to be harder and that's I didn't think it's so important that people focus on voting on November 2nd." Did you catch that? Punish our enemies. Now, you never heard Bush call democrats and liberals enemies. You never heard Clinton call Conservatives and Republicans enemies either. But this is what this country has come to. You have a president calling half of the country enemies. Now I may disagree with liberals out there. I have some friends that if all we talked about were our political views we might not be friends, but thankfully that is not all this world is about. Yes, at this time politics is critical, but you know what? If politics is going to end up being a blood bath in the end, I don't want a part if it. Obama said he was listening to those who did not earn his vote. Yet, he looks at us, Some of us are trying to help this country get on track. We lend out our hand in support, and he spits in our face. I have become and enemy in his eyes. I have become a target. To those of my friends who I don't see eye to eye with politically, you will never hear me call you an enemy. When the time comes, and I get the chance to run for political office You will never hear me call my opponent an enemy. You will never see me attack someone. My hope would be that my opponent want to help America as much as I do. I know they believe in a different path. I get that, but we are only as strong as our leaders, and right now, it appears we are not that strong at all.

It's Almost Here
For those who can, now is the time to get ready. November 2 is almost here. You get to decide who is in and who is out. Remember it doesn't matter whether they are Republican or Democrat. What matters is, can you trust them? I have been thinking about this for a while now. There is a chance that Republicans will win majority in the House, and maybe the Senate. What will happen if they do? Will they keep their promises, or will they continue to work the way Washington has in the past? Is it all for show? If they do take both, and they don't change what is going on, what happens in 2012? Many Americans already believe it is a good idea to vote in an independent. Will that finally happen? Could we see an independent candidate become President. The 2010 elections could give us more questions than answers.

Obama: Voters 'Scared,' Not Thinking Clearly About Election
"People out there are still hurting very badly, and they are still scared. And so part of the reason that our politics seems so tough right now, and facts and science and argument does not seem to be winning the day all the time, is because we're hard-wired not to always think clearly when we're scared," Obama said at a Democratic fundraiser Saturday in Boston. "And the country is scared, and they have good reason to be."
Sorry Obama, but the country is not scared. The country just realizes we cannot sustain on the path that we are on. We cannot continue to have 1.3 trillion dollar deficits. A majority of Americans said they did not agree with the healthcare bill, yet it was forced upon us. You have a majority, yet you cant get bills passed, then blame Republicans because you cant get enough Democrats to pass your agenda. It may be October, and Halloween may be around the corner, but America is not scared. They are just preparing for election day.

They Just don't get it!
Obama has done it again. He believes that whether or not the Republicans win big, they will have to work more with him. "It may be that regardless of what happens after this election, they feel more responsible," he is quoted saying in the Sunday edition of The New York Times Magazine, "either because they didn't do as well as they anticipated, and so the strategy of just saying no to everything and sitting on the sidelines and throwing bombs didn't work for them, or they did reasonably well, in which case the American people are going to be looking to them to offer serious proposals and work with me in a serious way." It looks as if he is sating hey no matter what the American people believe, The Republicans won't be able to use the Conservative way. They have to do it Obama's way. That is not all, Several endangered House Democrats think they may have found a way to escape voters' wrath in next month's midterm elections: run against House Speaker Pelosi. Their idea, is to tell the American voters they won't elect Pelosi as the Speaker if they win re-election. Well, yeah that is a start, but were they not voting in line with Pelosi on a majority of issues? You see Pelosi may be a problem, but so were the Democrats. When it came to Healthcare, they did not listen to the American people. Now, they expect the American people to trust them? They know they are in trouble. They think you are gullible though. They think your unintelligent. Ask John Kerry. He believes "We have an electorate that doesn't always pay that much attention to what's going on so people are influenced by a simple slogan rather than the facts or the truth or what's happening." Your just too stupid to understand politics. You don't really know what is going on... Well this November, Show them you know what is going on. Vote them out.

Federal Judge Orders Halt to 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' Enforcement
A federal judge issued a worldwide injunction Tuesday stopping enforcement of the "don't ask, don't tell" policy, ending the U.S. military's 17-year-old ban on openly gay troops. Although this is being praised by gay rights activists, I believe this to be the wrong decision. As I posted earlier I believe that Gays should be allowed to serve openly, however I do believe this to be the wrong time to do it. Polls do show that Americans believe they should serve openly, I get that, but at the same time a majority of Men and Women who currently serve in the military still disagree. Many commanding officers said they would separate gays from the rest of the troops, which would then bring lawsuits, which means many good people will be hurt, and taxpayers would pay for the cost. I do not believe a judge has the right to determine military policy. It is not their place. They know nothing when it comes to serving in the military, and they are not objective. First thing people should know about objectivity, is that nobody is objective. This decision should not have been made by a single person. Especially when you had the Pentagon looking at what a decision like this could do to the morale of the troops. I believe the judge just opened a can of worms, and she will have to bear what is about to come. The military has its own way of doing things, and even though the military cannot kick people out for being gay. The military as a whole can still make it very difficult for someone to serve openly

"Decision Points"
President Bush is coming out with a book on November 9th called Decision Points."It's about the decisions I made as president, and it's very anecdotal. Here are the stories, and you can decide what you would have done," he was quoted as saying in the Press-Register of Mobile. Now many of you may be wondering why I would bring this up. Well it is simple. Many people have told me, "You should respect President Obama," or 'Obama is your President. You need to show him respect." I don't know about you, but I was always taught respect is earned. As stated in my previous blog Obama is not listening, and because of that he is doing nothing to gain my respect. Now I may not agree with many of the things George Bush did, such as TARP and No Child Left Behind, but as time goes on Bush has earned respect. One reasonI think why is because he has become a target of both Democrats and President Obama since he left office, and he has refused to comment on the current state of political affairs. He said, "You're not going to see me out opining or offering my critique. Frankly, I don't think it's good for the country to have a former president criticize his successor." Now Many people may disagree with me, but a July Gallup Poll has Bush's approval rating after leaving office is up to 45% which just so happens to be Obama's current approval rating. I believe history will be a lot nicer to Bush than Obama.

A Failing President
On this day, we gather because we have chosen hope over fear, unity of purpose over conflict and discord. On this day, we come to proclaim an end to the petty grievances and false promises, the recriminations and worn-out dogmas that for far too long have strangled our politics. We remain a young nation. But in the words of Scripture, the time has come to set aside childish things. The time has come to reaffirm our enduring spirit; to choose our better history; to carry forward that precious gift, that noble idea passed on from generation to generation: the God-given promise that all are equal, all are free, and all deserve a chance to pursue their full measure of happiness.
These are the words of our current president. He said these things on the day he took office. However, he has failed at listening to his own words. On this day, we come to proclaim an end to the petty grievances and false promises, the recriminations and worn-out dogmas that for far too long have strangled our politics. He has failed to end these petty grievances, and false promises. He blames the Bush Administration after almost 2 years in office. He attacks Republicans for disagreeing with him, and doesn't listen to idea's from the right, saying it is failed policy. However, in Obama's victory speech he promised to gain the trust of those who did not vote for him. He said, "to those Americans whose support I have yet to earn - I may not have won your vote, but I hear your voices, I need your help, and I will be your President too." However when it came to the Tea Party he laughed them off. He has governed from the left. He said "we know that government cant solve every problem" however every step of the way he has tried to make government the answer. When Obama was sworn in his approval rating was above 65% with only 16% disapproving. America was willing to give this president a shot. I was willing to give this president a shot. Now his approval rating stands around 42% and his disapproval rating is around 50%. He has alienated a majority of Americans. even one of his supporters told him she was "exhausted defending you" and waiting for meaningful change. Now, Obama has two years. He can change. He doesn't have to follow the current path he is on. He doesn't have to keep alienating Americans. But really what do we expect, Change? We have already been through that. He won't change. The moves are his to make. These next two years will determine his legacy.

Barter system
According to the .S. Bureau of Labor Statistics our unemployment rate is at 9.5%, but the Bureau of Labor Statistics headline number counts as unemployed only people who have actively looked for a job in the previous four weeks. About 2.6 million people had pursued jobs in the past 12 months but, discouraged by the lack of opportunity, had stopped looking altogether. This means that the unemployment rate is higher than the 9.5%. And what about the people who only have part time jobs, or because of the economy have had to take a reduction in pay? Many people are hurting right now, and something needs to be done. I just heard about a lady who gives free haircuts for the unemployed. That is a step in the right direction. But what else can be done? Well i have a few ideas. I have been out of work since the end of July, and like many others, I have skills that are useful. Last week, I learned I would need my Ball Joints on the Ford Escape replaced. Well, I don't have $500 just laying around to get it fixed, and with a child and just one vehicle I didn't want to risk that part failing. So, I found someone who could help me fix the Vehicle. I paid for the parts, but he did the repairs for no cost. In return, I am tutoring his daughter in math 1-2 times a week. There are many people out there that have the skills to work, but cannot find a job. As Americans we need to come together to help each other out. There are things that can get done if we work together. From teachers, to mechanics, to carpenters, to lawyers. Somewhere someone is willing to work, but has not had that lucky break yet. Now is the time to come together as Americans to help each other out. Just imagine what could get done if everyone was willing to help out.
