Republicans Beware

One election night was enough to jolt the balance of power in Washington. It gave Republicans access to put a stop to the Democrats' policy agenda. Now, they seem to be all smiles. Republicans seem to have the upper hand leading into the midterm elections. After winning key elections in multiple states, they feel as if they are turning things around. However, Republicans are riding the coattails of the tea party activists, and currently saying the right things, but what happens after the 2010 elections? We have to keep our guards up. These same Republicans lost big in 2006 and 2008. Have Republicans changed for the better? Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure. We do not need to fear government. They should fear us. After all, "When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty."
